A walk through my "neighbourhood"
Today I went for a walk to have a look of what lays close to where I live. I live in an Apartment Complex next to the Basin Reserve, which is really the only thing that one can call a "neighbourhood".

There are several blocks, with possibly 5-6 apartments each. Most of the time I only see people around, but we don't really talk to each other and they stay strangers. Some times I see familiar faces, mainly because they are Massey Deisgn students and I might have meet them through friends or in previous classes. This is the only time when I say Hi or have a quick chat to them.
In the Block that I live in, there are six apartments. I personally don't know any of them, however I know my flatmates meet them when they had a party (and were drunk, typical students) but thats how far interaction with our neighbours went.
What I saw after a weekend was that across our window, one of the flats put up this banner:
The Banner says: Beer Pong. (Mobile Number). I actually found it hilarious, because it reflects what I noticed throughout the time I was living there. Tenants only want to know their neighbours if it is for partys or the opportunity to get wasted. Typical student flat complex :)
Walking a little bit up, I can see the ANZAC park and Tasman Street. In Tasman Street is another apartment complex (to the left), a bright green building. In the far back are actual houses. I walk there every morning to go to Uni, and I assume that these are mainly occupied by students.
